○ Abstract: The IceCube Neutrino Observatory is a neutrino telescope instrumenting 1 km^3 ice with 5,160 digital optical modules at the geographical South Pole. Since neutrinos are neutral-charged particles interacting only via weak interactions, the large fiducial volume helps increase the probability of detecting neutrinos up to a few PeV which can help unveil the astrophysical sources in the Universe that produced them. Recently, IceCube reported evidence of TeV neutrino emission from the nearby Seyfert II galaxy, NGC 1068. Neutrinos are produced via hadronic process that can also produce gamma rays. However, there is no accompanying TeV-scale flux of gamma rays from the location of NGC 1068. Disk-corona models are proposed to describe neutrino production and gamma-ray absorption at the same time. In this seminar, the followup searches for neutrino emissions from Seyfert galaxies using both standard power law flux assumption and a disc-corona model, to improve the discovery potential of the search, are discussed.
